Linda and I visited with our friends Stan and Deb, and we rented an Airbnb right on Lake Dora. From the moment we arrived, the pace felt different—slower, friendlier, and refreshingly uncomplicated.
One thing we loved right away: our place was just a few steps from town. We could leave the car in the driveway and walk wherever we wanted to go. No parking stress, no second-guessing plans—just head out when it felt right.
Even in the heat of a Florida summer, Mount Dora invited us to relax rather than rush.
