Who We Are
We’re Don and Linda—a retired couple who’ve spent the past 40+ years exploring the world, one unforgettable journey at a time. What started as occasional weekend getaways in our 30s evolved into a full-blown travel obsession that has only intensified since retirement.
Now, with more time and freedom than ever, we’ve turned our passion into a mission: to inspire fellow retirees and soon-to-be retirees to embrace the adventure that awaits in this incredible chapter of life.
We live in Florida and use it as both a home base for relaxed day trips and a launch point for longer journeys around the world. Although we’ve traveled together for more than 40 years, we began publishing this blog only recently. The stories here reflect the journeys we can document and share well—not a complete record of everywhere we’ve been.
Our Journey
Our travel story began modestly—camping trips with the kids, cross-country road trips, and the occasional Caribbean cruise. But as the years passed and our nest emptied, our horizons expanded dramatically.
We discovered the magic of barge cruising through the canals of Burgundy, the thrill of hot-air ballooning over Cappadocia, and the serenity of sunset-watching in Santorini. Each destination taught us something new—not just about the world, but about ourselves.
Today, we’ve visited more than 50 countries across seven continents. From river cruises in Europe to island-hopping in the Pacific, we’ve learned that the best time to travel isn’t “someday”—it’s now.
